Thoughts of the day - or yesterday mostly
People who still use IE6 shouldn't be allowed to use the net. But apparently around 30 percent of the ordinary net surfers still are; forcing poor, tired web developers to spend hours trying to make things look at least somewhat decent. (Fanfic-writing fangirls on the other hand - and to the lesser extent that fanboys exist they too I suppose - seem to be more computer literate with only 6 percent using the browser from hell. They also are almost double as likely to use macs as the more generic crowds. Oh the things you can learn from site logs.)

And why does the main web advertising bureaus have to be American and pay their associates in the currently soft and not very almighty US dollar? That's the last thing I need right now.

It's been grey and icky for days, not exactly helping my mood even if today the sun finally for a while succeeded to demonstrate that it still exists somewhere behind the clouds or under the horizon. And on top of that my sis succeeded in making me depressed without her knowing it. All in all, yesterday wasn't really the best of days.

What dog breed are you? I'm a German Shepherd! Find out at Dogster.com

German Shepherd - The Perfectionist

Doggedly dedicated to getting the job done, you don't let silly little distractions get in the way of putting in a full day's work. And after you come home, chowing down on a little grub and taking a little catnap is all it takes to get you up and at 'em for round two, whatever that may entail. Your dogma emphasizes the importance of hard work, and you swim laps around your dog-paddling, time-wasting co-workers. Your cleverness leads to you often being entrusted with some pretty important tasks, which you are always more than happy to sink your canines into. You really dig being outdoors and love a bit of exercise, but you draw the line at the ridiculous stuff, choosing a game of beach volleyball over Pilates in the park any day.

Maybe not to far off, even if it in that case currently mostly feels like I'm a German shepherd locked in a too small cage...

People are stupid. If my teachers use IE6, I'll just go and die somewhere. (My year-long project has been to make a homepage. Only one week left before the deadline now and uhhh. ._.)

Maybe having 3 of those in the family has affected me? :)

Ha! Somehow I thought about you when I first saw that test, and, well, it's a logical result for you! :D

IE6 is outdated after all - finally, I'd like to add - and shouldn't be used in education as anything else than a deterrent if you ask me. So hopefully they'll judge you on your ability to make nice pages following web standards and not on your ability to please an arcane Microsoft program. (Of course IE6 isn't outdated if they run Windows 2000, but then they really ought to use Firefox...)
That said, good luck on your project! *pats encouragingly* Not that I think you'll need the well-wishes. :)

probably that's why I've never, and will never, start a website^^; too many things and conditions to pull together, too much work for my small brain^^;;; good luck with handling it then

I wonder what your sister did.... and why you feel so emo lately ;_;

as for doggie test - you should guess what kind of dog I have if you don't remember or I haven't already told you XDD

HAHA! That's right, you've showed us a pic of the cute one once XDDDDD And I still didn't remember it until now when you said it. Baaad me ^^; adopt meee! I'll be a nice german shepherd XD

You know, knowing what you study I find it very hard to take this statement seriously. You most likely can do things on a computer that I would never be able to!

Sorry ^^; It's just the usual job-related stuff. the caged german shepherd wanting to show what it can but gets no love (I probably should stop with the dog metaphors... XD) Maybe somewhat affected by sucky weather and some other minor things too ^^; She's only trying to be helpful, but her timing is kind of bad sometimes ^^;
(my emo-ness has been that noticeable? ^^;;; That's kind of scary ^^;)
